Notes for Johann Lauxen
Johann Lauxen and Gertrud Knoeper appear to have married before 1729 and may have had other children before 1730 although none are listed in the records from Klotten. One of their sons may have died between March 20 and May 4 of 1748. The name of the child, the exact date of death, and the location where he lived were not given in the death notice in the St. Servatius Church records.
Based on the baptismal sponsors of his children, Johann may have been a close relative of Johann Reinhard Lauxen and Barbara Moentenich of Kavelocherhof.
Notes for Gertrud (Spouse 1)
She was the baptismal sponsor in 1753 for Gertrud, the daughter of Anton Ackermann and Angela Claas of Annischerhof.
