The book Orstchronik Mannebach/Eifel by Peter Bauer, Nikolaus Hermann and Erich Mertes gives her birthdate as November 29, 1826. It says that Maria Katharine and her husband Anton, daughter Maria, and son Johann Hassling immigrated to Minnesota in 1871. She married John Fischbach in Minnesota in 1872.
