Holy Trinity Catholic Church is located on Route 67 about seven miles east of Bryant, Indiana. The parish was founded in 1854 and the parish church was dedicated in 1885. A bilingual English-German Catholic school opened in 1880. (Information from Bryant Area Centennial (1975)). John Peter (or Peter John) was the third cousin of Mary Louise Ternes.
In 1910 and 1930 John Peter and his family lived in Wabash Township, Jay County, Indiana.
He died of cancer in a hospital in Portland, Jay County, Indiana.
The family of a tenth child of John Peter Minnich and Mary Magdalena Wagner requested that their side of the family not be on the site.
