Notes for Lucia (Sophie) Muesch
Source: Records of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Monreal.
Notes for Anton (Spouse 1)
Source: Records of St. Gangolf Catholic Church in Mertloch.
Anton’s baptismal sponsors were Anton Pauli/Antonius Pauly of Allenz (possibly Anton’s uncle) and Elisabeth Leimbach/Elisabeth Leim of Roesermuehle. Anton was confirmed in 1774. Anton was described as an Ackersmann (farmer) on his daughter Lucie’s birth certificate from the mayoral district of Mertloch in the 10th year of the “French Republic.” The two witnesses were Christian Laubenthal and Anton Reynardts. Both Anton and Lucie were described as farmers on their daughter Lucie’s death certificate. He was described as a hofmann (overseer of an estate) in these records that were provided by Manfred Ruettgers.
