Baptismal records are not available before 1619 for Monreal. When he died in November 1696 he was listed as an octagenarian so that he would have been born in 1616 or earlier. I indicated that Johann Muesch was Johann’s father because this Johann was listed as “Joannes Junioris” in the baptismal record of his son Anton in 1657. However another man named Muesch could have been the younger Johann’s father with the meaning of “Junioris” just being “the younger,” not “junior” in the sense used today.
