Her baptismal sponsors were Matthias Fuhrmann of Illerich and Maria Kraemer of Wirfus. Matthias Fuhrmann was the son of Johann Fuhrmann and Katharine Deusen of Binningen. He married Anna Maria Pauli of Illerich, the daughter of Anton Pauli and Gertrud Schaden, in 1787. His wife may have been a relative of the child’s grandmother, Margaretha Schaden of Illerich. Maria Kraemer of Wirfus was most likely Maria Wehrhahn, born in 1753 to Matthias Wehrhahn and Margaretha of Lirstal, who married Nikolaus Kraemer of Wirfus in 1774. She may have been the sister of Anna Wehrhahn.
