Ancestry.com 1910 federal census interpreted her last name as Limmer; in 1920 it was interpreted as Zinsanch.
In 1930, 1935 and 1940 she lived with her daughter Eulalia in La Crosse.

In 1893 the City Directory for La Crosse, La Crosse County, Wisconsin listed Nicholas S. Zimmer who was a carpenter working for the C B & N Railway. In 1900 Nicholas lived with his wife and children Esther, Arthur, and Robert in La Crosse. His name was read as “Limmer” in the
Ancestry.com version of the 1900 census. In 1905 Nicholas and his wife lived in La Crosse with their children Esher, Arthur, Robert, and Eulalia.
