In 1910 Joseph lived in Avon with his wife Bertha and his daughter Ernestine from his first marriage. In 1920 Joseph lived in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio with his wife Florence, his mother-in-law Frances Snyder, his brother-in law Henry Snyder and his wife Tillie.
