In 1910 he lived with his parents and siblings in Eaton, Lorain County, Ohio. In 1920 he and his wife Gertrude lived in Eaton next door to his parents’ farm. He filed for a divorce in 1925. In 1930 he lived in Eaton and was divorced.
In 1935 he and his wife Edith and their family lived in Grafton, Lorain County. In 1940 they lived in Ruggles, Ashland County, Ohio and in 1942 they lived in New London, Ashland County. In 1957 they lived in Greenwich, Huron County, Ohio. He died in a hospital in Willard, Huron County.
