Source: According to K-J Tonner’s Kelberg data file, Margaretha's daughter Maria, the only one of six children to survive infancy, immigrated to Minnesota with her father, stepmother, and stepbrother who was born in 1868.
Notes for Maria Katharine (Spouse 2)
Her birthdate as well as date and place of death were obtained from K-J Tonner’s Kelberg data file. That file gives the source of information for Maria Katharine as Beverly Ewing. The book Orstchronik Mannebach/Eifel by Peter Bauer, Nikolaus Hermann and Erich Mertes gives her birthdate as November 29, 1826. It says that Maria Katharine and her husband Anton, daughter Maria, and son Johann Hassling immigrated to Minnesota in 1871. She married John Fischbach in Minnesota in 1872.
