Nikolaus’ parents were Peter Rink and Anna Maria Jungclas. Nikolaus and Anna Maria’s family is in the Illerich Family Book on page 241. Five of their nine children died before age five.
Notes for Anna Maria (Spouse 1)
Johann May, young man from Greimersburg, and Anna Maria Ackermann of Kavelocherhof were her baptismal sponsors. Johann May was apparently the son of Margarete Pauli and Nikolaus May who was born in 1773 in Greimersburg. He was the grandson of Johann Reinhard Pauli and Katharine Gilles of Illerich. Anna Maria Ackerman was Anna Maria Moentenich who married Jakob Ackermann of Kavelocherhof in 1785. She was the child’s aunt. Anna Maria had a daughter Anna Maria Ackermann on Jan. 29, 1815 who died the same day.
