I have been unable to find a baptismal record for Johann Peter in either Mertloch or Kehrig. This may be due to the French occupation of this period. His birth date was provided by Manfred Ruettgers, who gives 25 August 1837 in Gering as the date and place of Johann Peter’s wedding.

Anna Maria’s parents were Johann Adam Boersching and Anna Maria Gail. At the time of her wedding the church in Kehrig may have been named St. Kastor church.
