Her baptismal sponsors were Anton Deusen of Hambuch, Elisabeth’s brother who married Anna Barbara Schmitt and lived in Hambuch, and Elisabeth Moentenich of Illerich. Elisabeth Moentenich was (Maria) Elisabeth Claas, born in 1731 in Annischerhof to Johann Peter Claas and Maria Angela Schaeffges. She married Anton Moentenich in 1752, the son of Johann Moentenich and Maria. Anton’s first wife was Maria Pauli of Illerich whom he married in 1741.
