His baptismal sponsors were Matthias Wilhelmi of Hambuch and Maria Elisabeth Keess of “Endert inferior.” Matthias Wilhelmi could have been
1) Elisabeth Deusen’s first cousin who was born in 1731 to Jakob Wilhelmi and Katharine Kalsch, Elisabeth Deusen’s aunt;
2) the Matthias Wilhelmi of Hambuch who married Maria Ternus of Forst in 1759, the widow of Johann Kraemer of Illerich who had died in 1758. However this man lived in Illerich after his marriage.
It is possible that these were the same person.
