Anton was the hofmann (overseer) in Neidhof from about 1753 to 1781. He was the baptismal sponsor for Maria Lauxen of Illerich, daughter of his brother Peter Lauxen and Maria Ursula Zimmerman. His death notice in the Klotten church records gave his age as 56 and his name as Johann Lauxen. His name may have been Johann Anton Lauxen.
