Notes for Nikolaus Ackermann
Source: Manfred Ruettgers.
He was a synodalis in the Catholic church. According to Marcus Weidenbach, via Paul Galganski:
“Nikolaus was a farmer in Gappenach, Germany. In 1654, he managed an estate belonging to the cloister of Stuben.... By 1660, Nikolaus had moved to another farm in Gappenach called Mariarother Hof, an estate belonging to the monastery of Mariaroth near Dieblich.... In 1663 the tax rolls show he owned a plough and four cows.”
