Notes for Maria Elisabeth Ackermann
Source: Records of St. Maximin Catholic Church in Klotten and of St. Stephan Catholic Church in Polch; and Manfred Ruettgers who provided her place of death.
Johann Anton Ackermann of Gevenich was a sponsor at her baptism. She was confirmed in 1764 in Klotten. In 1765 she was a baptismal sponsor for her nephew, Johann Peter Claas.
The church records of St. Stephan Catholic Church in Polch give her birthplace as Kavelich. This is apparently Kavelocherhof. Of the baptismal sponsors of Maria Elisabeth’s children, five appear to be siblings of Maria Elisabeth, and they were sponsors in the order of their ages: Anna Maria (Claas) in 1768, Anton in 1772, Peter in 1775, (Maria) Angela in 1776 and possibly Jakob in 1778.
Notes for Johann Heinrich (Spouse 1)

Johann Heinrich’s parents were Balthasar Reitz and Margarete Doehr. His baptismal sponsors were Johann Heinrich Muench and Anna Maria Muench, both of Fidel. Witnesses to Johann Heinrich’s and Maria Elisabeth’s wedding included Damian Bambach and Nikolaus Mohr.
