The Wuerttemberg index reported that she immigrated in 1881. However the 1900 federal census for her birth family reported that they had immigrated in 1880. Carolyn became a naturalized citizen.
As of 1910 she had had four children, all of whom were living.
In 1940 Carolyn lived in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio with her daughter Caroline, son-in-law Fred R. Basler, and their two children. She had lived there in 1935 as well.
