Peter Goebel was the son of Johann Goebel and Elisabeth Weber of Zettinger Muehle who married Maria Eva Jungclas in 1778, the sister of Anna Katharine. Katharine Jungclas was probably the daughter of Johann Peter Jungclas and Katharine Arentz who was born in 1767 in Wirfus.
