Anton, his mother and his brothers Nicholas, Johann and Wilhelm sailed from Le Havre, France on the ship “Waverly,” arriving in New York, New York on August 28, 1847.
In 1850 he lived with his mother and four of his siblings in Avon, Lorain County, Ohio. In 1860 he lived with his wife and two children in Dorr, Allegan County, Michigan. In 1870 and 1880 he and his wife lived in Salem, Allegan County, Michigan with seven of their children.
According to Elise Kelling Malinovsky, Anton and Elisabeth had ten children.
