“Tholl” was sometimes spelled “Stoll.” Johann and Elisabeth had six children. When Elisabeth died her husband was referred to as Johann Tholl, junior (i.e., the younger). When Johann married in 1721 he was not listed as a widower. However, he was again called Johann Tholl, junior.
