In 1905 he lived with his daughter Anna, her husband Nicholas Olig, and their children in Marshfield Township, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. He died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Mathias Kremer in Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac County.
He had 5 children. The other one was Mrs. J. P. Stephany who lived in Malone, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin in 1916.
