Peter and his wife Elisabeth Stephani, daughter Eva, and son Johann sailed from Antwerp, Belgium on the “Alice Tainter” and arrived in New York, New York on August 25, 1856. Peter’s parents, Mathias and Agnes Krebsbach, were also passengers on that boat, along with other family members.
In 1860 Peter and his wife and three children lived in Taycheedah Township, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, next to the home of his parents.
