His baptismal sponsors were Johann Heinrich Koehn [the son of Nikolaus Koehn and Lucie Suesterhenn] and Anna Maria Daum, [possibly the half-sister of the child’s mother].
He was a baptismal sponsor in 1753 for Maria, the daughter of his half-sister Barbara Welsch and Johann Pauli of Metternich, and in 1766 for Anna Maria, the daughter of his brother Anton Georg Welsch and Anna Maria Wolff of Muenstermaifeld.
