Source of the year of his death: “Sevenich bei Muenstermaifeld in alter Zeit--Beitraege zur Genealogie der Maifelder Bauerngeschlecter” by Hans Bossier, in “Die Maifelder ACKERMANN-Familie.” According to Bossier, the French took over control of Sevenich in 1797. Later Johann bought the last lease on the Hof to be held by the Ackermann family.
