Source of his third name “Severus,” and of his year of death: “Sevenich bei Muenstermaifeld in alter Zeit--Beitraege zur Genealogie der Maifelder Bauerngeschlechter” by Hans Bossier, in “Die Maifelder ACKERMANN-Familie.” According to Bossier, Franz Georg Severus purchased the hof known as Rosenthaler Hof in Sevenich from the French authorities in 1803 and allowed Wilhelm Sevenich to continue to lease the property. Franz Georg Severus became very wealthy.
