His baptismal sponsors were Leonard Ackermann from Sevenich [who was married to his mother’s sister Margarete Sevenich] and Maria Duenchenheim, the wife of Johann Oster. He was a baptismal sponsor in March of 1708 for Leonard, the son of his sister Anna Port and Martin Brachtendorf of Gierschnach. Two of his children died in August of 1710, one on August 23 and one on August 29.
