Notes for Johann Heidger
Source: Records of St. Martin and St. Severus Catholic Church in Muenstermaifeld.
His baptismal sponsors were [his mother’s brother] Johann Pitsch and Gertrud [Braun], the wife of Anton Marx of Hof Feils, Metternich.
He may have been a baptismal sponsor in 1717 for Johann, the son of his sister Maria Elisabeth Heidger and Franz Daum of Muenstermaifeld.
He was a baptismal sponsor in 1737 for Katharine, the daughter of his sister Anna Maria Heidger and Johann Schneider of Muenstermaifeld.
Notes for Maria Magdalene (Helena) (Spouse 1)
Source: Records of St. Martin and St. Severus Catholic Church in Muenstermaifeld.
Her baptismal sponsors were Nikolaus Kohlbecker and Maria Magdalene Puelicher.
She may have been a baptismal sponsor in 1755 for Magdalene, the daughter of her half-brother Matthias Huerter and Anna Maria Esch of Muenstermaifeld.
Helena’s maiden name was omitted from the marriage record. However her parents were identified as Johann Huerter and Elisabeth Knodt because they lived at Neuhof in the early 1700’s.
Her death notice gave her name as Maria Magdalene as did her daughter Anna Margarete’s wedding notice.
