Notes for Anna Sevenich
Source: Records of St. Martin and St. Severus Catholic Church in Muenstermaifeld. Source of the information about her marriage: Manfred Ruettgers.
Her baptismal sponsors were [her mother’s brother] Severus Froelich and Anna [Adams], the wife of Nikolaus Port, villicus hospitalis.
She was a baptismal sponsor in 1695 for Anna, the daughter of Reinhard Heimbach and Maria Barbara Beckerell of Muenstermaifeld; in 1697 for Friedrich, the son of Johann Anton Sevenich and Anna (Maria) Margarete Drees of Gierschnach and Muenstermaifeld; in 1699 for Anton, the son of Stephan Tilman and Anna Maria Lentz of Muenstermaifeld; and in 1702 for Johann, the son of Matthias Huenthen and Margarete Lintz of Muenstermaifeld.
Notes for Matthias (Spouse 1)
Source: Manfred Ruettgers and the records of St. Laurentius Catholic Church in Masburg.
There is a discrepancy in the records concerning the Matthias Schuberack family. The Mertloch information from Manfred Ruettgers states that a Matthias Schuberack was born about 1677 in Mertloch and that his children were born in Mertloch. On the other hand, the records of St. Laurentius Catholic Church in Masburg state that a Matthias Schuberack died in Schuweracker Hof [near Urmersbach] in 1738. Both of these sources record that Matthias had children named Margarete and Johann, who married Gertrud Roeder of Roes in about 1731. The resolution of this discrepancy seems to be that Matthias moved from Mertloch to Schuweracker Hof where he died, and that Johann and
Margarete also moved to Scheweracker Hof before their weddings occurred in 1731 and 1736, respectively.
