His full name was given on his daughter’s baptismal register in 1763.
When his son was baptized in 1768, Detloff was described as a schoolteacher and landlord of Alt Pokrent.
One of his children was buried on May 22, 1750. A daughter of Detloff Schwartz of Alt Pokrent died about 13 December 1771, and another of his children died about 8 September 1773.
The death notice said he was about 80 years old.
