His birthdate is given as March 30 or 31, 1889; March 1890, and March 30, 1892.
In 1920 he was a widower boarding in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio with Henry Gordon Reddeck, his wife Leah, and daughter Blanche. Louis married Blanche in about 1921. In 1930 he lived with his father and his sister Florence and her family in Lyndhurst, Cuyahoga County. The census indicated that he was married. (His and Blanche Rebbeck’s divorce did not take effect until December of 1930.)
In 1935 he lived in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. In 1940 he lived in Bremen Township, Cook County with his wife Dorothy, child Frank Arthur, and the Glen and Georgia Worthey family. In 1942 he lived in Cleveland. From at least 1950 to 1958 he was registered to vote in Yermo, San Bernardino County, California, near Barstow. His wife Dorothy lived in Yermo in 1961.
He resided in Yermo and died in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.
