He apparently changed his name from justen to Justin. In 1900 he lived in Russia Township (Oberlin), Lorain County, Ohio with his wife, two children and one stepson. In 1910 he lived in Russia Township with his wife and children and his mother. The census interpreted his last name as Gustin and the other family members’ names as Curtin. In 1920 he lived in Russia Township with his wife and daughters Bertha and Pearl. His sons Frank and Christian and their families lived nearby. The findagrave website gives 1920 as the year in which he died.
