Notes for Anton Olig

He immigrated in 1842 and became a naturalized citizen.
In 1860 he and his wife lived in Calumet Township, Fond du Lac county, Wisconsin with their seven children. His parents lived next door. A woman named “Anna C.” who was 67 years old lived with them. The census reported she was from Wisconsin, but that is questionable.
In 1870 he and his wife and seven children lived in Calumet Township. His father and his father’s wife lived with them. In 1880 he and his wife and sons Matthias, Nick, and Joseph lived in Calumet Township. In 1900 he and his wife lived in Calumet Township near the home of his son Joseph and his family.
