Nicholas and Julia were first cousins once removed in two ways—Franz Knieper and Margaretha Suesterhenn were his grandparents and her great grandparents; and Anton Klee and Margaretha Muennich were his grandparents and her great grandparents.
The 1920 census reported that both of her parents were from Ohio whereas the 1910 census reported that her father was from Germany.
In 1935 and 1940 she lived in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. She had three lodgers in 1940.
