Notes for Anton Klee
Anton’s baptismal sponsors were Anton Klee and Anna Maria Tholl of Laubach. Anton’s and Maria Angela’s wedding record in 1810 said that his parents had lived in Laubach. Another version of the record said that they were from Masburg (near Laubach) but this was crossed out and Kavelocherhof was inserted. It appears that Anton lived in Kavelocherhof before he was married.

Her baptismal sponsors were Peter Gilles of Zettingen and Maria Angela Schmitt of Neuhof. Peter Gilles of Zettingen was the son of Franz Gilles and Barbara Kalsch of Zettingen. Maria Angela Schmitt was the sister of Anton Ackermann who married Jakob Schmitt of Neuhof in 1779.

Her baptismal sponsors were Nikolaus Pauli of Illerich and Anna Maria Ackermann of Kavelocherhof. Anne Maria Moentenich was the niece of Anna Maria Moentenich, the wife of Jakob Ackermann of Kavelocherhof. Jakob Ackermann was the uncle of Anton Klee’s first wife, Maria Angela Ackermann.
