His baptismal sponsors were his uncle, Franz Jungclas, who married Maria Katharine Pinger of Illerich in 1754, and Anna Maria Ebertz of Greimersburg. Anna Maria Ebertz was Anna Maria Castor, wife of Christian Ebertz of Greimersburg. Christian’s mother was Elisabeth Gilles of Esperhof and his grandparents were Johann Gilles and Elisabeth Lauxen of Esperhof.
