His baptismal sponsors were Johann Anton Gilles of Zettingen and Margaretha Heucher of Landkern. The wedding record in 1754 said that the bride was Sophie Heucher, widow of Landkern. Children of Johann Anton’s and Anna’s died on Jan. 16, 1762. A son died on June 26, 1771. Johann Anton became a synodalis in the church.
